“Hong Kong International Computational Olympiad is an annual computational Olympiad competition which consists of main programming languages nowadays such as Scratch, Blockly, Python.
Hong Kong International Computational Olympiad, HKICO is organized by Olympiad Champion Education Centre from Hong Kong, a registered educational center listed on Education Bureau of Hong Kong (EDB Reg No: 598 216) to provide Computational Olympiad classes in Hong Kong. Mini Project
All Students, who participate in HKICO Heats round can also participate in the HKICO Mini Experiment competition without any additional fees which is optional. The Topic of the project will be declared later by Jan – Feb, 2024. You need to record a mini experiment of 3-5 minutes and upload the video on YouTube and share the link for the jury.
The last date of submission of mini project will be end of March, 2024.

The results of the Mini Experiment will be declared separately with HKICO finals announced results.
Online exam login credentials, schedule and exam instructions will be provided by email after registrations close one week before the exam.

Who can participate in HKICO?
Students from Grades 2 to 12 from any country can participate. There are different categories based on grade levels.
Is there a registration fee?
Yes, the registration fee is 45 JOD per student. Some schools may cover this fee for their students.
Can schools register multiple students?
Yes, schools can register groups of students. Contact us for school registration discounts and bulk registration.
What is the exam format?
Preliminary round: 20 multiple-choice questions in 60 minutes. Finals include 24 questions in 90 minutes.
