About the Spelling Bee Summer Olympiad:

The International Spelling Bee Summer is India’s first Online Spelling Assessment for classes 1-8 which assesses students on the basis of Meaning, Spelling, and Pronunciation of the words in the English language (British English). Hence, it will help students to foster their lexical development which forms the basis of the English language.

More Information About the Spelling Bee Summer Olympiad:
a- The assessments have been carefully designed by a team of English language experts.

b- India’s first online proctored Spell Bee exam Summer.
c- Online Rapid Fire round.
d- Two levels of exam.
e- Objective-type test that the students need to complete in 60 minutes.

f- The dictionary that will be used for reference is the Oxford Learner’s Dictionary. This will be w.r.t. spellings & meanings. In case, if the word is not found in this dictionary, then it is assumed that this word does not exist.

The exam consists of two sections:

Section-1:Spell Bee (55 minutes)
Section-2:Rapid Fire (5 minutes)

Eligibility Criteria for the Level 1 Spelling Bee Summer Olympiad exam

a- Students in grades 1-8 are eligible to take the examination.
b- Students studying in any Indian-recognized educational board, such as CBSE, ICSE, State Board, and so on can register for the Spell Bee exam.
c- Students studying & residing outside of India are also eligible to take the exam.
d- Students from more than 25 nations take part in the CREST Olympiads exams.

Eligibility Criteria for the Level 2 Spelling bee summer Olympiad exam

The eligibility criteria for the level 2 exam of the International Spelling Bee Olympiad are totally based on the marks obtained in the level 1 examination. Students who qualify for the minimum marking criteria for level 1 can participate in the level 2 exam.

a. Mode of Examination: Online and Offline.
b.Exam Duration For KG: 45 min.
c. Exam Duration For 1-10: 60 min.
d. Type of Questions: Multiple Choice Questions ( MCQ ).
e. Levels of Examination: 1 Level in Offline Mode
