About the Spelling Bee Winter Olympiad:

The International Spell Bee (Winter) is India’s first Online Spelling Assessment for classes 1-8 which assesses students on the basis of Meaning, Spelling, and Pronunciation of the words in the English language. Hence, it will help students to foster their lexical development which forms the basis of the English language.

More Information About the Spelling Bee Winter Olympiad:
a- The assessments have been carefully designed by a team of English language experts.
b- India’s first online proctored Spell Bee exam (Winter).
c- Online ‘Get, Set, Spell!’ round.
d- One level of exam.
e- Objective-type test that the students need to complete in 60 minutes.
The dictionary that will be used for reference is the Oxford Learner’s Dictionary. This will be w.r.t. spellings & meanings. In case, if the word is not found in this dictionary, then it is assumed that this word does not exist.
The accent used in all the audio questions will be Indian.

The exam consists of two sections:

Section–1:Spell Bee (55 minutes) – Multiple Choice Questions
Section–2:Get, Set, Spell! (5 minutes) – Audio-based questions. The student needs to hear the sentence and write the spelling asked.

Eligibility Criteria for the Level 1 Spelling bee winter Olympiad exam

1- Students in grades 1-8 are eligible to take the examination.
2- Students studying in any Indian-recognized educational board, such as CBSE, ICSE, State Board, and so on can register for the Spell Bee exam.
3- Students studying & residing outside of India are also eligible to take the exam.
4- Students from more than 25 nations take part in the CREST Olympiads exams.

Eligibility Criteria for the Level 1 Spelling Bee Winter Olympiad exam

a- Students studying in grades 1-8 are eligible to take part in the examination.
b- The Olympiads allow both school and individual registration.
c- Students studying & residing in India & outside India are also eligible to take the exam.
d- Conducted For Grades: KG to 10.
e- Mode of Examination: Online and Offline.
f- Exam Duration For KG: 45 min.
g- Exam Duration For 1–10: 60 min.
h- Type of Questions: Multiple Choice Questions ( MCQ ).
i- Levels of Examination: 1 Level in Offline Mode
